Welcome to Unionville Campus

Welcome to our Montessori community, where curiosity is celebrated, independence is nurtured, and every child is seen, heard, and valued.

At Yip’s Unionville Campus, we believe that learning is a journey guided by the child. Our prepared environment invites self-directed exploration, hands-on discovery, and meaningful collaboration. From the youngest explorers in our Toddler and Primary spaces to our stellar Elementary programs, our dedicated teachers cultivate a love of learning by honoring each child’s unique pace, interests, and strengths.

The Pursuit of Academic, Language & Performing Art Excellence

Markham Campus

Yip’s Markham Campus was established in 1990 and Unionville Campus in 2004. The academic program is based on Montessori curriculum, teaching method and teaching apparatus. Formal music education and Chinese Language are included as part of the school curriculum. Our Montessori school offers a unique curriculum that promotes academic, language and performing arts excellence for Toddler aged 1.5 to 6 years old. The school year runs from September to August.

Toddler (18 to 30 months)

Our toddler program provides an environment which is carefully prepared to meet the unique needs of this age group. We focus on key developmental areas namely: sensory and perceptual development, self-help skills, physical and motor skills, and social and emotional growth. The entire toddler program is designed to allow the children to explore and to develop concentration and coordination. Social interaction, language skills, independence, music and movement activities are integral to the Montessori toddler experience.
